French's celebrity makeup looks always have that signature flawless complexion. To get there, she recommends controlling the shine in the T-zone and leaving the apples of the cheek and high points of the face glowy. "I also love using my finger to apply any shimmery or sheen-style eyeshadow; it helps you pick up the most pigment without any fallout. And always set your makeup with a setting spray," she told E!.
Before applying any product, though, French starts with constructing a character for the makeup look with her client. "I started my career in film and creating characters, and I still bring that mindset to clients when creating a beauty look," she said. "I love creating characters with these girls—it's always so much fun and makes the makeup way more interesting."
