EXCLUSIVE: Aaron Dominguez has signed with Paradigm for representation.
Additionally, Dominguez has joined the cast of the upcoming “Power” franchise spinoff sequel, Starz‘s Power: Origins, which follows the events of the Power Book III: Raising Kanan series finale. Details regarding his character are under wraps.
From Sascha Penn, Power: Origins will expand the “Power” Universe by delving into the origin story of fan-favorite characters Ghost (Spence Moore II), Tommy (Charlie Mann), and Kanan (Mekai Curtis). The three are ambitious young entrepreneurs on the rise, determined to make their mark on the streets of New York City.
Starz calls Origins “a fun, rambunctious exploration of a new time period in the Power franchise that will highlight the unbridled audacity of young men on the rise, determined to become legends in the game.”
Dominguez is perhaps best known for starring opposite Selena Gomez, Steve Martin, and Martin Short in the critically acclaimed Hulu series Only Murders in the Building. He played the fan-favorite character Oscar Torres, better known as Tie-Dye Guy, in the show’s first season. Next, he pivoted to film with a role in A24’s The Inspection from writer and director Elegance Bratton, followed by the Amazon Studios rom-com Sitting in Bars With Cake, starring opposite Bette Midler and Odessa A’zion.
Dominguez’s small screen credits also include the new Gossip Girl, from Joshua Safran for HBO Max, and Netflix’s first medical series Pulse, from Carlton Cuse. Additional film credits include the Shaft sequel for Warner Bros., and starring alongside Madison Iseman in the feature Witchboard. Most recently, he was seen working alongside Xotchil Gomez in the horror feature Hive from director Felipe Vargas.
