Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are having a hell of a time.

After all, the Fenty Beauty founder and "Sundress" musician celebrated their son Riot's third birthday with a Spider-Man-themed party surrounded by all of their loved ones.

Rihanna and A$AP know with great power comes great responsibility when it comes to parties, with a red-and-blue archway adorned with Spider-Man balloons and Riot's name greeting guests in an Aug. 1 Instagram Story posted by the "Umbrella" singer's sister-in-law Nadia King.

The celebration also included the most marvelous photo backdrop with red, blue and black balloons, as well as a massive spiderweb design and shelves of Spider-Man merch. 

A$AP—donning a white T-shirt, a blue snapback under a vibrant scarf tied over his head and sunglasses—sang "Happy Birthday" to their toddler as Rihanna moved his cake onto the table.

The couple—also parents to RZA, 4, and Rocki, 10 months—have always made sure their kids feel like the only boy (or girl) in the world for their birthdays.

In fact, their eldest son had the ultimate slime-filled birthday bash in May at the immersive slime experience at New York City's Sloomoo Institute. Their guests made custom slimes and even had the chance to get slimed. And Rihanna was more than happy to put down her umbrella to join her kids under the slime waterfall.

For Rihanna, 38, being a mom has her feeling beautiful like diamonds in the sky.

"It just kind of highlights about being a woman," she told E! News in April 2024. "Because I'm the one that can experience all of that in the house—giving birth to them, carrying them, being a partner with Rocky and running the household and the family. It's new territory, but it's empowering." 

Meanwhile, A$AP, 37, couldn't be more thrilled to swing into parenthood with his partner.

"This woman has always been magic," he told W Magazine in April. "Philosophically, the way she operates is on another level. She is the most charming and genuine person on Earth. Her energy is unmatched—one of a kind."

As A$AP and Rihanna celebrate their son's latest milestone, keep reading for a look back at how they found love.

In 2012, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky performed their hit "Cockiness" at the MTV Video Music Awards, and their number was so good it deserved a trophy. This wouldn't be the last time the two shared the stage as they went on tour together in 2013.

Fans had this song on replay after Rihanna and A$AP Rocky released the music video for "Fashion Killa" in 2013.

As the years went on, they remained friends. In 2018, they attended the Louis Vuitton Menswear Spring/Summer 2019 show as part of Paris Fashion Week and, of course, they totally slayed.

They also attended The Fashion Awards in 2019, with Rihanna dazzling in a mint Fenty dress and A$AP Rocky looking sharp in a black suit.

Met Gala official! Rihanna and A$AP Rocky attended the 2021 Met Gala together in style, with the "Umbrella" singer wearing a black Balenciaga gown and the "A$AP Forever" artist donning a custom ERL quilt and a tuxedo.

While fans wondered if A$AP Rocky had proposed to Rihanna after seeing them sport the words "Marry me?" and "I do" across their teeth in his "D.M.B." video, sources close to the couple told TMZ in May 2022 the two aren't engaged.

And baby makes three! Multiple outlets report that the couple welcomed a baby in Los Angeles.

She debuted her second pregnancy during the 2023 Super Bowl halftime show.

The couple welcomed their second child, son Riot. One month later, they shared their first photos as a family of four in a rare photoshoot. 

Rihanna confirmed her romance with A$AP began at the end of 2019. 

"I've seen him in relationships. He's seen me in relationships," she explained in a conversation for Interview published April 9. "We knew what we're capable of, and the trouble that we could bring to each other's lives. We can make or break each other's hearts. And so, we started dating with a lot of caution."  

Baby No. 3! Shortly before arriving to the 2025 Met Gala, the "Love on the Brain" singer confirmed her pregnancy.

Rihanna announced the birth of her daughter Rocki Irish Mayers with a pair of Instagram photos of herself holding the newborn as a set of pink boxing gloves.
