Netflix has unveiled trailer for the second season of Canadian comedy North of North.

The show, which was the first original to come out of the streamer’s Canada office, follows a young Inuk mother, Siaja (Anna Lambe).

In Season 2, Siaja is still making bold decisions and even bolder mistakes in her effort to level up her life. The hardest part is proving to her tight-knit Arctic community and herself that she’s ready to take charge.

Lambe returns for Season 2 alongside Maika Harper (Neevee), Braeden Clarke (Kuuk), Jay Ryan (Alistair), Mary Lynn Rajskub (Helen), Zorga Qaunaq (Millie), Bailey Poching (Colin), Nutaaq Simmonds (Elisapee) and Keira Cooper (Bun).

Stacey Aglok MacDonald and Alethea Arnaquq-Baril’s series is co-produced with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) in partnership with APTN and represented a key milestone for Netflix in Canada, being its first original.

Season 2 is exec produced by Aglok MacDonald and Arnaquq-Baril for Red Marrow Media, along with Miranda de Pencier (Anne with an E, Beginners, The Grizzlies) for Northwood Entertainment, Mike Goldbach (Fleishman Is In Trouble, Heated Rivalry), Garry Campbell (The Kids in the Hall, Less Than Kind), Jessie Gabe (Workin’ Moms, One More Time) and Robin Gurney (Twin Peaks, Kidding).
