For Jenna Compono, parenthood is the best kind of challenge.

Indeed, the Challenge alum announced that she and husband Zach Nichols welcomed their fifth baby together, a boy, on Aug. 2, less than a year after giving birth to their daughter.

"With a 2-week early grand entrance, we'd like to welcome Vincent John into the world," Compono wrote on Instagram Aug. 3. "What originally was a checkup due to cramping led to a medically necessary induction due to low fluid (Oligo). Love you to bunches, my little Vinny boy." 

The 33-year-old noted that their kids Anthony, 4, Liliana, 3, Carmella, 2, and Francesca, 11 months, have loved having the newest addition in their home. 

As she put it, "The other 4 are head over heels and just want to hold him every second."

For the couple—who met on The Challenge: Battle of the Exes 2 in 2014—growing their family has been a priority, although neither expected Compono to get pregnant so soon after welcoming Francesca.

"Honestly, we were planning on trying for another in about two months," she told People in February while announcing the pregnancy. "I was really surprised how soon this happened, but as always, we are blessed."

"Everyone is always happy and excited for us," she continued. "They think we are absolutely crazy to have five under 5 years old, but yes, they're excited. It's always exciting to see our parents' reactions because they both came from big families." 

And now, being pregnant isn't really a challenge for Compono when it comes to symptoms.

"I have been pregnant for four years straight," she shared. "This is just how I normally feel now!"

Although the reality star hasn't competed in the MTV competition series since 2020, her time vying for gold in seven seasons had shaped her into the mother she is today.

"I stepped out of my comfort zone," Compono told Spearmint Love in August 2022. "I have dealt with tons of mixed emotions. I was mentally exhausted. I overcame a lot of obstacles and I feel like mothers battle every day with certain obstacles when raising a child. Although there are tons of great things about being a mom, it is also very hard!"

The couple—who have been dating since at least 2023—confirmed they welcomed a baby together, with the actor jokingly telling E! News at the premiere of The Hawk, "It's nice to be out before I go back to work on my shift."
