While not exactly Hallie Parker and Annie James level, Lindsay Lohan may still feel like her 3-year-old son Luai pulled a switcheroo by growing from a baby to already a toddler.
"Every day is such a beautiful new milestone and just seeing the world through his magical eyes is so incredible," The Parent Trap star told E! News in an exclusive interview. "Itâs priceless."Earlier this month, Lindsay and her husband Bader Shammas celebrated Luai's 3rd birthday with a superhero-themed party.
"He loves Spider-Man. He really does," the actress continued. "Him and Captainâhe calls him Captain Ca-merica."
Otherwise, Lindsay noted Luai loves airplanes and dinosaurs, with fans getting a glimpse of his T. Rex-sized enthusiasm at his 2nd birthday party last year. But if youâre wondering if she's introduced him to Oreos with peanut butter yet (you know, the snack her twin characters loved in the 1998 movie), sheâs holding off for now.
"No, he recently in New York tried a gluten-free Oreo," Lindsay shared. "He did try that, but that's as far as it goes. I was a little nervous because I was like, 'Oh, itâs happening. The chocolate thing that people tell me about with toddlers.' Weâll wait a little."
For now, heâll just have to take his momâs word for it when it comes to the classic combo. In fact, Lindsay is celebrating the first anniversary of Reeseâs Oreo by co-starring in a campaign with Amy Sedaris that was directed by Patricia Arquetteâa lineup thatâs so star-studded you may need to do a double take.
And while they may not have developed their own secret handshake like Annie and her butler Martin, it still seems like the trio had a blast.
"It was a lot of fun on set, and it was a lot of fun watching Patricia," Amy raved. "I mean, Iâm such a big fan of both of yâalls. I couldnât believe I got to work with you two. I really canât."
Twinning in her response, Patricia added, "It was very exciting and just fun to watch, and theyâre both so talented and top of their game. I laughed so much and had so much fun."
