Branded and longform content producer taps VaynerMedia's Daisy Domenghini to lead its first international hub
OBB Studios is spreading its wings across the pond with the launch of a London office, marking the first international hub for the bustling 10-year-old outfit known for its social media-savvy branded content and longform unscripted fare.
The OBB London outpost will be lead by Daisy Domenghini as managing director of OBB Bolded London, the branded content studio. Sheâll be tasked with building up OBBâs business activity across the U.K., Europe, the Middle East and Africa. reporting to James Rowe, OBB Bolded president.
OBB, formed in 2016 by Michael D. Ratner and Scott Ratner, now juggles a diverse roster of programs and digital campaigns that range from branded content, sports, venture-related material, advisory and live events. OBB London, located in the Fitzrovia district, aims to become OBBâs hub across the U.K. and Europe working in close contact with OBBâs offices in Los Angeles and New York. Among the productions that will flow through OBB London are the Stanley Tucci-led unscripted series âTucci in Great Britainâ for National Geographic TV and Disney+.
âOBB has been working globally for a while and weâre excited to be investing in our international infrastructure permanently in London,â said Michael D. Ratner, OBBâs founder and CEO. âLondon is already an important market for us, and many of our partners and having a team with boots on the ground gives us a truly always-on, 24/7, operation for our work together. With this move we are immediately able to move in real time across markets and time zones, constantly surfacing new talent, ideas and opportunities across the global OBB ecosystem. Daisy knows this market inside and out, and sheâs the right person to lead that charge.â
Domenghini comes to OBB from VaynerMedia, where she helped build the digital-native companyâs branded content business, working with such partners as TikTok, Meta, Bose and Indeed, and she helped VaynerMedia expand in Europe. Before VaynerMedia, Domenghini spent 11 years with digital consulting firm Engine.
âWhat drew me to OBB is that itâs built for the way the business actually works today,â Domenghini said. âLondon is one of the most creative markets in the world, and thereâs a huge opportunity to build here with incredible talent and brands while helping grow OBB globally.â
OBBâs expansion to London is a natural move given the U.K.âs importance as a global production hub these days. OBB was an early example of a next-generation digital media studio that embraced the potential of high-end branded content just as the social media video revolution and the rise of creators and influencers began to shake-up all the conventions of marketing and advertising.
OBB has produced programs including the 2023 docu âMountain Queen: The Summits of Lhakpa Sherpa and the 2024 holiday special âA Nonsense Christmas with Sabrina Carpenterâ for Netflix. Itâs also known for its branded content partnership with NBA star Kevin Durant and the CeraVe skin care brand. OBBâs biggest score to date that made waves in the business world was its partnership with Hailey Bieber in the launch of her Rhode makeup brand, which was acquired by E.L.F. Beauty in 2025 for $800 million.
OBBâs recent branded work also includes the âWhere It All Kicks Offâ World Cup campaign for Dickâs Sporting Goods, recent programs for Gap and FILA as well as branded and e-commerce content for Kim Kardashian, touting her energy drink Update and her âKimsmas Liveâ livestream shopping variety show for the shapewear brand Skims.
OBB has invested big in sports and sports-adjacent content through its Fanatics Studios partnership with digital sports hub Fanatics. Fanatics Studios handled production of this yearâs ESPY Awards for ESPN as well as the Fanatics Flag Football Classic. It has also been tapped to produce a documentary on U.S. Olympic gymnast Suni Lee and to produce the official Olympic Film for the Los Angeles Summer Games in 2028.
