Madonna gives fans a first listen to her new album before its official release with an iHeartRadio and TikTok Live Premiere, streaming on July 2.
Madonna’s Confessions II is almost here, and she’s giving fans an exclusive sneak peek with a global, interactive event in collaboration with TikTok and iHeartMedia. The iHeartRadio and TikTok Live Premiere with Madonna will stream July 2 at 4:30 PM ET / 1:30 PM PT, offering early access a day ahead of the album’s worldwide debut on July 3.
Fans can watch live via TikTok, Madonna, or iHeartRadio’s official TikTok accounts, or listen across more than 200 iHeartRadio stations nationwide.
Madonna will be joined by Bob the Drag Queen in a discussion about her new music, as well as producer Stuart Price and Madonna’s daughter Lourdes “Lola” Leon, who collaborated with her on the track “The Test.” The musician will preview select tracks from the new album, giving audiences a rare listen ahead of the highly anticipated release.
Fans will be able to engage in real-time using TikTok features like polls, custom-designed “like” icons, fan Q&A, and live callouts that will be integrated throughout the session. Additionally, fans can visit iHeartRadio’s digital station Hit Nation and use the talkback feature to share their own confessions with Madonna, starting today until the show on July 2.
According to iHeartMedia, the event is the fifth album release the company has collaborated on with TikTok, creating a “next-generation release format that merges the scale of broadcast radio with the interactivity of a community-driven platform.” It’s part of a growing trend in music launches that brings fans into the moment in real-time via interactive livestreams, rather than waiting for release day.
Meanwhile, ahead of the event, Madonna has dropped two new tracks, “Bring Your Love” featuring Sabrina Carpenter, and “Love Sensation.” They join the lead single “I Feel So Free” for a total of three newly released songs. She also teased snippets of three other songs: “Good for the Soul,” “Danceteria,” and “Read My Lips.”
As one of the headline performers for the first-ever World Cup final half-time show alongside Shakira and BTS, Madonna will perform “Read My Lips” in New Jersey on July 19. The track, a collaboration with Latin star Feid, dropped last week and was previously teased in Confessions II – The Film.
