Paul Wesley is taking a bite into a new chapter with Natalie Kuckenburg.
The Vampire Diaries star and his partner of just over four years are officially married, Kuckenburg confirmed with a sweet collection of photos from the ceremony.
“Mr. and Mrs.” Kuckenburg wrote in a July 13 Instagram post alongside the sweet pictures of herself, Wesley and their dog, revealing his role in the ceremony: “And the Best Boy Greg.”
Wesley and Kuckenburg’s nuptials appeared extremely intimate based on the glimpse shared by the model, featuring only themselves, their pet and a minister conducting the ceremony.
Nevertheless, they dressed the part. The Star Trek actor, 43, wore a simple navy suit with a black tie, while Kuckenburg, 26, wore a long, spaghetti-strapped silk white LILOU wedding gown designed by Galia Lahav.
Naturally, Paul’s longtime pal and former costar Nina Dobrev chimed into the celebration in the comment section, adding alongside several heart face emojis, “Congratulations!!!!”
After first sealing their romance with a kiss in during a 2022 trip to Italy, Wesley and Kuckenburg announced their engagement last year.
“Yes,” Kuckenburg wrote in an Instagram post at the time alongside a selfie showing off her engagement ring, “Always and forever.”
Meanwhile, Wesley—who was previously married to Torrey DeVitto from 2011 to 2013, as well as Ines de Ramon from 2019 to 2022—later shared how their proposal was a bookend for the very first chapter in their romance.
“It was a surprise,” he recalled to People last year. “We did go back to this one hotel in Italy that was our first date years ago. And so when I said we were going there, she sort of was like, ‘Oh…’”
And even though Kuckenberg later admitted to her now-husband she wasn’t totally surprised by the big question, he revealed, “She still broke down in tears.”
As for what makes his romance with Kuckenberg so solid?
“There's two people that are the funniest people in my life—Number one, my dog, and number two, frankly, my girlfriend,” Wesley told People in March 2024. “I think the reason we get along so well is because all we do is laugh, and I think it's probably one of the most important things in a relationship.”
