Dara Levitan and KJ Dillard have called it quits.
During the Thursday (June 18) episode of her Five More Minutes podcast, the 33-year-old Summer House star confirmed that she has split from her 28-year-old boyfriend and co-star.
“Do you want to know what’s setting me off?” Dara shared. “Well, I’m single.”
“That’s all we’re going to say about it because I can’t do tears this morning,” she continued, “and there’s no way I’m talking about it without crying.”
Dara and KJ started dating in the summer of 2025 while filming season 10 of the Bravo reality show. The pair met through mutual friend and co-star West Wilson.
Before Dara confirmed her split from KJ, co-star Jesse Solomon accidentally spilled the news while appearing on Watch What Happens Live earlier this month.
“They broke up, yeah,” Jesse, 33, after being asked why KJ and Dara unfollowed each other on social media. “Last I heard, they were broken up. Sorry if that’s not public.”
When KJ appeared on the June 2 episode of the More Life With Carl Radke podcast, he revealed that he and Dara took a brief break after season 10 of Summer House wrapped filming last summer while he went through mental health struggles.
If you didn’t know, KJ was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder late last year after being hospitalized for self-harm.
KJ explained that Dara “broke up” with him “because she had to.”
“Dara, I think, was gonna hang on … but that wouldn’t have been good for either of us,” KJ said. “I needed the time, because after the hospital, I went to recovery … and that’s when we broke up. Looking back, if me and Dara were dating when I was in recovery, it would have been a mess. I would have been focused on saving the relationship rather than focusing on my health. Recovery changed my life.”
If you didn’t see the news, it was just recently announced that one Summer House star has exited the show and will not be appearing on season 11.
