Zendaya is swinging in with her appreciation for Tom Holland.
The Spider-Man: Brand New Day actress shared her love for her husband and his portrayal of the friendly neighborhood Super Hero, especially how he keeps the spirit of the character intact off screen.
âMy favorite thing about Tom's Spider-Man is how Tom handles Spider-Man outside of Spider-Man,â Zendaya shared in her Fandangoâs Big Ticket interview with the Spider-Man cast. âSo many people connect to this characterâto Peter Parker, to Spider-Man. Especially young people, especially children.â
âHe's just handled that weight with such grace,â the 29-year-old added, âand really loves and cares so much about the character and what the character means to other people.â
The Emmy winner is particularly impressed by how Holland handles himself in front of children, adding that he quickly realized âwhen you are in front of these kids, you are Spider-Man, you are this person to them.â
Zendayaâwho plays MJ opposite his Peter Parkerâtold Holland, âI just love seeing what and how you carry Spider-Man through your life in real life.â
And while Zendaya has been awed by Holland on the big screen, the Marvel star has been grateful to have Zendaya by his side during their big screen journey.Â
âOur business can present very stressful situations," the 29-year-old told Esquire in an interview published June 16, "and itâs really nice to have a bedrock of a relationship that will stand the test of time."
"We can support each other in ways that only we can, because only we understand really what itâs like to live this life," the Odyssey actor continued. "I think that is such a luxury, because I just donât understand how I would be able to have anything like that with anyone else."
Hollandâwho also confirmed his marriage to Zendaya in the interviewâraved that the Euphoria alum is his âperson,â adding, "Sheâs my best friend, and Iâm the happiest I ever have been when Iâm with her. I also have never felt so supported and safe, ever. Period."
