These sexy singles are hitting the high seas in search of love.

Hulu's new reality dating competition series Love Overboard is making a splash—quite literally—with 22 romantics battling it out to find the partner of their dreams aboard a luxury mega-yacht. But hold on to your life preservers, because there's a big twist making waves among the cast.

As host Gabby Windey teases in the reality show's trailer, "Some of you will find love, while others will fall from this plank behind me. This is going to get messy."

That's right, throughout the season unlucky daters will get the boot by plunging from the million-dollar boat into the waters below.

"While four couples get to live the life of luxury on the top side of the deck," Gabby tells the bikini and boardshorts-wearing hotties, "the rest will be living and working as crew on the down side. To get upstairs, they have to break up a couple."

And breaking your back doing yacht work while also trying to steal someone's man or woman isn't exactly what some of these hopefuls had in mind.

As one female contestant hilariously remarks through tears, "Why would I want to pick up after people that I think I'm sexier than?"

However, some will do anything to fight their way from below deck to above deck. As a male hopeful says, "I feel bad breaking them up, but you gotta do what you gotta do."

Throughout the sea-faring journey, romances will ignite, hearts will be broken and strategic alliances will form. In the end, only one couple will reign supreme as Love Overboard's first-ever winners.
