Bowery Presents co-presidents John Moore and Jim Glancy have stepped aside from their roles leading the promoter, which is owned by AEG Presents, the company announced on Monday (Sept. 28). Moore co-founded Bowery Presents in 2004, with Glancy joining Bowery from Live Nation as a partner in 2006. In 2016, Bowery Presents was bought by AEG Presents.
As part of the announcement, Josh Bhatti, Charley Magrew, Andrew Martin and Josh Moore have all been promoted to senior vps and will collectively lead the company. Magrew will be spearheading marketing, ticketing, sponsorship and venue initiatives; Moore will be helming talent out of the company’s New York City office; Bhatti will run the company’s New England office in Boston as a standalone; and Martin will oversee business and legal affairs from Nashville. All four will report to Brent Fedrizzi, president of North American regional offices for AEG Presents.

“Founding The Bowery Presents and partnering together to grow the company has been an incredibly rewarding chapter for us,” Glancy and Moore said in a joint statement. “We’re proud of what we’ve built alongside an extraordinary team and grateful to everyone who has been part of that journey. Andrew, Charley, Josh and Josh have made significant contributions to The Bowery Presents during their respective tenures, so it’s gratifying to see them all take this next step together. We’re leaving the company in capable hands.”
Fedrizzi added, “AEG Presents is forever indebted to Jim and John for their contributions over their nine years at the company. The Bowery Presents is a renowned, internationally recognized brand that has been instrumental in so many artists’ careers, and it was important for us to find the right group of people that can steward the company into this important next phase. Being able to do this from within the ranks is a testament to the culture that Jim and John have built, and I couldn’t be happier for Andrew, Charley, Josh and Josh.”
Bhatti has been with The Bowery Presents since 2010, when he joined as the promotion company’s first employee outside of its New York City office, and will lead the promoter’s New England regional business. Magrew joined the company in 2015; Martin in 2018 (and was at AEG Presents since 2007 before then); and Moore joined AEG in 2005 before moving to The Bowery Presents in 2007.
Bowery Presents produces shows across New York City including at venues Forest Hills Stadium, Brooklyn Steel, Webster Hall and Terminal 5, and has two concerts scheduled at Flushing Meadows Corona Park this weekend, including The Strokes on Friday (Oct. 2) and Dom Dolla on Saturday (Oct. 3).
In 2024, Glancy spoke to Billboard about Bowery Presents’ partnership with AEG Presents, noting the benefits that come from being part of a larger ecosystem: “When you’re in a silo by yourself, you’re only as good as your own borders.”
