Pamela Anderson is back on the red carpet at the 2026 Venice Film Festival!
The 59-year-old Golden Globe-nominated actress looked gorgeous in a silk yellow gown by Carolina Herrera as she attended the premiere of her new movie Place to Be on Wednesday (September 9) held at Sala Grande in Venice, Italy.
Fellow cast members Taika Waititi and Murray Bartlett were also in attendance at the premiere.
Earlier in the day, Pamela, Taika, and Murray were joined by fellow cast member Ellen Burstyn and director Kornél Mundruczó at the photocall for the movie.
While Ellen, 93, attended the photocall for their new movie, she skipped the premiere.
What is Place to Be about?
Here’s the synopsis, per Venice:
Place To Be is a light-hearted road movie about the unexpected friendship between an elderly woman and a middle-aged man travelling from Chicago to New York to return a lost racing pigeon, Intruder, to its owner.
Brooke Graham, a gentle woman, has devoted her life to her children since her husband’s death. Her quiet existence is turned upside down by an unwelcome visitor: a cheeky carrier pigeon that refuses to leave her home. Unable to abandon the bird, Brooke embarks on a quixotic journey. Along the way, she finds an unlikely travelling companion in Nelson Green, a businessman struggling to find his way forward after a series of setbacks. Brought together by a bird neither expected to care about, Brooke and Nelson slowly discover a connection that helps them confront their disappointments, rediscover a sense of purpose and wonder: is it ever too late to pursue the life you truly want?
The cast also includes Edgar Ramirez, Lena Waithe, and Maika Monroe.
Days before the premiere, Pamela was honored with the Award of Courage at the amfAR Gala Venice. In her empowering acceptance speech, Pamela spoke about being diagnosed with Hepatitis C in the 1990s.
