EXCLUSIVE: Jake Weary (The Waterfront, Animal Kingdom), Sean O’Pry, Hannah Galway (Under the Banner of Heaven) and Sadie Dickerson (Just In Time) have been cast in Prime Video‘s Rose Hill, based on the book series from Elsie Silver.

Rose Hill follows best friends and neighbors West Belmont (Weary), a rancher with commitment issues, and brooding record label owner Ford Grant (O’Pry), aka Forbes’ “World’s Hottest Billionaire,” who’s long carried a torch for West’s sister, Rose (Galway). And when country-pop star Skylar Stone (Dickerson) breezes into their rugged mountain town, the heat gets turned way up in this romantic family drama.

Heidi Cole McAdams serves as writer, showrunner, and executive producer. Marc Webb will direct the pilot and second episode and executive produce. Silver also serves as executive producer alongside Wyck Godfrey, Marty Bowen, and James Seidman for Temple Hill. Temple Hill’s Annika Patton will also serve as a co-executive producer.

Weary was most recently seen starring in the Netflix series The Waterfront as well as Christian Nilsson’s Westhampton, following its premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival. Most notably, he was seen in all six seasons of the TNT crime drama series Animal Kingdom. Weary’s previous TV credits include AMC’s Dead City; NBC’s Chicago Fire; and Freeform’s Pretty Little Liars. He is repped by The Gersh Agency and Range Media Partners.

O’Pry has been featured in numerous advertising campaigns and editorials for Calvin Klein, Giorgio Armani, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, Ralph Lauren, Bottega Veneta, among others. He appeared in Madonna’s music video Girl Gone Wild and Taylor Swift’s music video for Blank Space. He is repped by VNY Model Management and Luber Roklin Entertainment.

Galway is a graduate of the Toronto Metropolitan University, where she received her degree in Theatre Performance. Notable credits include the FX series Under the Banner of Heaven, Guillermo Del Toro’s Netflix series Cabinet of Curiosities, and the Netflix series Sex/Life. For MGM+, Galway is a series regular on Jack Bender’s The Institute and the final season of Billy the Kid. Upcoming, she will appear in Netflix’s The Altruists and the gangster thriller feature The Bookie and the Bruiser. Galway is repped by Play Management and 11:11 Entertainment.

Dickerson made her Broadway debut starring as Sandra Dee in Just In Time opposite Jonathan Groff. After graduating last year from Missouri State, she made her New York debut Off-Broadway in Vladimir at Manhattan Theatre Club and also starred in multiple workshops of the musical Begin Again, featuring music by Pat Monahan of Train. Dickerson is repped by Buchwald and Suskin/Karshan Management.
