Shawn Hatosy has landed home.
The 50-year-old Emmy-winning actor, who stars as Dr. Jack Abbot on The Pitt, and his wife Kelly Albanese made their way through LAX Airport after their flight over the weekend in Los Angeles.
For their flight, Shawn sported a “Fallon” sweatshirt, black pants, and a green hat while Kelly, 48, went comfy in a gray sweatshirt, which had “Easy Tiger” written across it, paired with flowing brown pants.
If you didn’t know, Shawn and Kelly have been together for years and married in 2010. They share three sons – Cassius (born 2006), Leo (born 2012), and Finn (born 2017)
Last week, Shawn was in New York City where he appeared on CBS Mornings to chat about The Pitt. During his interview, Shawn got a bit flustered and started blushing when asked how he feels about being described as a “silver fox.”
“I’m getting used to it,” he said. “It’s crazy to be part of a show like this. Like you said, I came in as a guest star in one episode. I was in, like, two scenes. So it’s very unexpected to be 50 and to be experiencing this new kind of fandom.”
Elsewhere during his interview, Shawn was asked why he thinks fans connected with his character so much.
“Both him and [Noah Wyle‘s character] Dr. Robby are incredibly competent,” Shawn said. “They can do any trauma that’s in front of them. But when it comes to their mental health, they are struggling. And that position, attending, there’s so much stress and responsibility. It weighs on them.”
He added, “I think part of it is, yes, he’s very calm in the face of chaos. He can handle anything. But he’s struggling, as is Robby. And they have to come together. They’re the two that understand this and are sort of navigating their way through.”
In another recent interview, Shawn addressed the possibility of expanding The Pitt universe with a night shift spinoff series.
