AGC International, the sales and distribution arm of AGC Studios, has named Diane Ferrandez and Nat McCormick to the newly created roles of Co-Heads of Worldwide Sales and Distribution, effective immediately.
LA-based McCormick and London-based Ferrandez will share management and film sales and distribution responsibilities for AGC International with Ferrandez also spearheading AGCâs expanding TV sales operations.
McCormickâs new role reunites him with AGCâs CEO Stuart Ford and AGC co-founder Miguel Palos who were previously partners at IM Global where he began his career working on titles such as Insidious, Sinister, Bullet to the Head and The Butler. He later served as President of Worldwide Sales and Distribution at The Exchange. Most recently, McCormick helped launch independent film company, Stoic, where he served as President, Worldwide Sales.
Ferrandez joined AGC Studios in 2022 as Senior Vice President of Film Sales and Distribution and has handled titles such as Richard Linklaterâs Hit Man, Anna Kendrickâs Woman of the Hour, Justin Kurzelâs The Order, Ron Howardâs Eden and recently wrapped Babies from Lauren Miller Rogen. In 2024, she expanded her mandate to include television sales and co-productions including partnerships on series including Vanished starring Kaley Cuoco, Embassy starring Anna Kendrick, Sam Heughan and J.K. Simmons and Beatles biopic Hamburg Days. Ferrandez came to AGC from Rocket Science.
Said Ford: âHaving known Nat since the early stages of his outstanding career so far weâre delighted to welcome him back into the fold and for him to bring his senior management skills, dealmaking prowess and global relationships to AGC International. Meanwhile, since joining AGC International four years ago Diane has become a huge asset to our sales and distribution business, particularly since she took the lead in shaping and executing our scripted TV distribution strategy. It makes absolute sense for us to pair Nat and Diane as co-heads of AGC International where I hope theyâll further cement its position as one of the leading film and TV licensing platforms in the global marketplace.â
Ferrandez added: âIâm delighted to welcome Nat to the team â his experience and relationships across the industry make him a fantastic partner as we continue to strengthen AGCâs global sales and distribution business. Under Stuartâs leadership, AGC is uniquely positioned to champion premium independent film and television, and I am as proud of the work accomplished the past four years as I am excited to expand our partnerships and create further opportunities for filmmakers and buyers across the Atlantic.â
âThe years I spent at IM Global with Stuart and Miguel were some of the most rewarding of my career. Iâm excited to reunite with them, and to work alongside Diane to continue the industry-leading work being done at AGC Studios,â commented McCormick.
Rounding out the sales team are recent hires Jack Pallone and Priya Malhi who joined AGC as Sales Coordinators based in Los Angeles and London respectively. Pallone was most recently at WME Independent and Malhi joined AGC following roles at Banijay Rights and XYZ Films.
