BTS’ RM and j-hope Pose Backstage With Chris Brown, Dance to ‘Look At Me Now’ During R&B Tour Date

BTS‘ RM and j-hope and RM took time out from their busy ARIRANG world tour schedule to check out a stop on Chris Brown and Usher’s R&B stadium tour this week. An Instagram post from Brown on Tuesday (Aug 12) showed the two K-pop stars flanking Brown in what looks like a backstage area.

Brown’s caption did not shed much light or provide any details on how the power pop summit came together, instead musing, “WALK in your purpose. Even if you have to walk alone first❤️.”

In the snap, the two Korean stars flank Brown, who is dressed in an all-white track suit and matching hat, a slight smile on his face as j-hope stands to Brown’s right wearing jeans, a white T-shirt under a matching dress shirt, a red baseball hat and black shades while making an indeterminate hand gesture with the fingers on his right hand. A smiling RM is seen on the other side — rocking a deep-V black T-shirt under a brown checked flannel — flashing a big smile as he leans into Brown.

Though Brown did not indicate when the pic was taken or where, the timing appeared to coincide with the “Go Crazy” singer’s co-headlining tour with Brown playing Toronto’s Rogers Stadium on Tuesday (Aug. 11) and Wednesday (Aug. 12); BTS wrapped up a two-night stand at M&T Stadium in Baltimore on Tuesday and the seven-man group are not slated to take the stage again until the first of two gigs at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Saturday (Aug. 15).

j-hope also shared some video from the show, including footage of Usher performing his signature 2004 Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit “Yeah!,” as well as footage of Brown on stage with the caption, “Let’s Goooooo!” and the two K-pop legends bouncing around excitedly in a selfie clip to Brown’s 2011 hit “Look At Me Now.”

It was also unclear what, if any, connection RM and j-hope have with Brown, though in addition to apparently being huge fans of both men, the singers may have also been doing recon on one of the upcoming final North American ARIRANG tour stop, as BTS are due to touch down at Rogers Stadium for a double-down on Aug. 22-23.
