HappyNest Entertainment, the producer behind Paris Hilton’s “Paris & Pups” YouTube show, is in early development on several new projects, including a series with “Goosebumps” author R.L. Stine, an adaptation of the graphic novel “Louie and Bear,” and a franchise based on a decades-old kids’ STEM program.
Best known for “Paris & Pups” (developed in collaboration with Paris Hilton’s 11:11 Media and 9 Story Media Group) and last year’s Chuck E. Cheese animated Christmas special on Amazon, kids’ and family entertainment company HappyNest has also been building partnerships with UTA, Walmart and Moonbug.
Per HappyNest’s own descriptions for its trio of new projects:
“Kids and family audiences today engage with stories very differently than they did even just a decade ago,” HappyNest Entertainment CEO Philip Fier said. “We develop franchises with that reality in mind, creating IP that can live across platforms, categories, and experiences from day one. From Space Camp to R.L. Stine’s Story Club, our slate reflects the kinds of culturally resonant properties we believe can grow into long-term kids and family franchises.”
“Space Camp has inspired generations of young people through space, science, and imagination, and storytelling is a natural way to enhance that mission,” said Brenda Perez, CEO and CFO of the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, home of Space Camp. “We are working with HappyNest to reach beyond traditional platforms, while staying true to the core values that have made Space Camp such an enduring and meaningful brand for more than four decades.”
