What to Know About Michael Reinstein Amid Nicole Kidman Romance Rumors

Nicole Kidman isn't forgetting to have some fun in the sun this summer.

The Oscar winner has been spotted multiple times now with American businessman Michael Reinstein, first in Italy where she was vacationing with sister Antonia Kidman—and then on July 30, when he picked the actress up from Hollywood Burbank Airport in a Ferrari.

So, they're airport-pickup-level chums, at least. Which, in L.A. traffic, is its own form of commitment.

The sightings come about eight months after Kidman's divorce from Keith Urban was finalized, the parents of daughters Sunday Rose, 18, and Faith Margaret, 15, having filed to end their 19-year marriage last September.

"I’m always going to be moving toward what’s good," Kidman told Variety in March. "What I’m grateful for is my family and keeping them as is and moving forward. That’s that."

She's been jetting in every direction this year, from Chile and Antarctica to Paris and Portofino, where she and Reinstein were seen looking cozy outside the Belmond Splendido hotel.

A couple days after flying from New York—where she attended the season three premiere of her Paramount+ series Lioness—to L.A. and being whisked away from the airport, Kidman and Practical Magic costar Sandra Bullock surprised fans at an Aug. 1 screening of the movie at Hollywood Forever Cemetery. They were joined in a margarita toast by Joey King and Maisie Williams, who play the daughters of Bullock's Sally in Practical Magic 2, coming to theaters Sept. 11.

"To the coven," Kidman said as they raised their glasses.

Meanwhile, the Australian actress continues to keep her own cup full, telling Variety that "this year and my next few years are for the adventures. I’m at a certain time in my life. I’m going to do the things I’ve always dreamt of doing that are not anything to do with work."

And with the 59-year-old vowing to always be moving toward "something good," who is the man she's now spent time with in at least two countries? Here is what to know about Reinstein:  

Originally from Los Angeles, Reinstein is the founder and chairman of global investment firm Regent, which is based in Beverly Hills.

According to the company's website, Regent has built "a portfolio of enduring businesses in luxury, fashion, beauty, media, technology, and industrial sectors" across six continents.

For the most part Reinstein is a private person, though his firm's high-profile acquisitions—such as Swiss luxury brand Bally, La Senza lingerie and Sunset magazine—have made headlines.

He offered up his own Beverly Hills home for a "Project Refresh" feature in the November 2018 issue of Sunset after another house fell through, Reinstein explaining to the Los Angeles Times, "My No. 1 goal was to keep the advertisers happy."

According to the LA Times, which noted his age as 47 in November 2018, he graduated from USC, has a law degree from Pepperdine University and interned for Ronald Reagan (who spent his post-presidency in Southern California) in 1992. And before starting Regent, Reinstein worked at talent agency ICM, commemorative coin designer Franklin Mint and private equity firm Archtype Capital.

Reinstein was first photographed with Kidman outside a hotel in Portofino, Italy, on July 18, and then they were subsequently seen on side-by-side lounge chairs—which immediately promoted the businessman to the role of rumored love interest.

They reunited in L.A. on July 30, when he picked her up from Hollywood Burbank Airport behind the wheel of a black Ferrari.

Kidman has certainly been keeping busy, but she hasn't been romantically linked to anybody since she and Urban separated and subsequently filed for divorce last September.

She remains based in Nashville, where her daughters attend school, but she could just as easily be in New York, L.A. or Paris on any given day. As Sunday Rose told Elle Australia earlier this year, "My mum is a really good traveler, so she has taught me how to be one, too, which makes it so fun to travel and enjoy all the different places.”

Sunday Rose made her Met Gala debut in May, making a splash in Dior alongside her Chanel-clad mom, who was co-chairing the event for the third time.

While the origins of their romance initially sparked in spring 2026, the Frankenstein actor and the Kardashians star took their relationship to the next level in May 2026. 

In addition to a double date alongside Kendall's sister Kylie Jenner and her longtime boyfriend Timothée Chalamet, the duo were spotted on several romantic getaways in early summer 2026, including in Hawaii and Japan. 

In summer 2025, fans were looking to solve the mystery of where Ana de Armas and Tom Cruise stood.While the Knives Out actress only spoke about her working relationship with the Top Gun alum when they first sparked dating rumors in February 2025, the pair's subsequent outings—including a hand-in-hand stroll through Vermont in July—seemed to confirm a new romance was taking flight. E! News reached out to their reps for comment at the time but did not hear back. 

With the changing seasons, however, it appeared things cooled off once more, with mulitple outlets reporting the duo called it quits in October 2025. 

While fans know Jessica Alba played Sue Storm, they might not be as caught up on the romance rumors she sparked in summer 2025. Six months after her split from husband Cash Warren, the Fantastic Four actress was spotted hanging out with Top Gun: Maverick’s Danny Ramirez. In fact, they were seen boarding a flight from Cancun to Los Angeles in July 2025, per a video shared by TMZ. 

This was no summertime fling, though. The duo continued to go strong well into the following year, stepping out for a Miami getaway in May 2026. 

The one where Jennifer Aniston sparked romance rumors with Jim Curtis. Reports spread that the Friends star and the hypnotist are dating after they were photographed vacationing together in Mallorca in early July 2025. And while they've yet to comment on if they're more than friends, Jennifer has dabbled in Jim's area of expertise to help with her fear of flying."I have been doing some hypnosis lately," she told Travel + Leisure in April, "and one of the requirements is to remove all of those superstitions."

While summer was the time for their romance to heat up, Jennifer proved the duo was going the distance when she hard-launched their romance on Instagram in November 2025. 

Megan Thee Stallion had a solid Hot Girl Summer with Klay Thompson.In July 2025, the Grammy winner and the basketball player made their romance Instagram official, and went on to make their red carpet debut as a couple at her Inaugural Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala in New York days later.

But while the pair appeared to go strong for several months, Megan shared things went south the following spring. 

"I've made the decision to end my relationship with Klay," Megan said in a statement to E! News in April 2026. "Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there's no real path forward."

Reese Witherspoon couldn't object to a romantic getaway with Oliver Haarmann.While the jury was out on whether the Legally Blonde actress and the financier were dating after they were first spotted together last fall, the verdict came in after People published photos of the duo kissing on a yacht off the coast of Saint-Tropez, France, in July 2025. 

This is a truly aca-awesome romance. Anna Kendrick and Alex Edelman fueled dating speculation after they were spotted hanging out together on multiple occasions in summer 2025. For instance, the Pitch Perfect star and the comedian were photographed driving together in Studio City, Calif., and shopping at an outdoor market in L.A. that July.
