Grown Ups 3 is coming!
Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade, Rob Schneider, Maya Rudolph, Maria Bello and Salma Hayek Pinault are all set to return as leads in the third installment of the fan-favorite franchise, Netflix confirmed Thursday (August 6).
Julie Bowen, Deon Cole, and Bailee Madison will be joining the cast.
Jackie Sandler, Shaquille O’Neal, Colin Quinn, Tim Meadows, Cheri Oteri return, as do Ellen Cleghorne and Nick Swardson.
Jake Goldberg, Alexys Nycole Sanchez, Sadie Sandler, Sunny Sandler, Ada-Nicole Sanger are also featured in the cast.
Morgan Gingerich, Kaleo Elam, Nadji Jeter, David Mattle and Kamil McFadden round out the cast.
Grown Ups 3, directed by Kyle Newacheck, began production in New Jersey. The movie was written by Tim Herlihy and Adam Sandler.
Here’s a synopsis: “Now that their kids are all grown up, the gang is finally free to go on the ultimate adventure.”

The original movie followed a group of lifelong friends who reunite for a July 4th weekend vacation at a lake house, three decades after their high school days, after they find out their former basketball coach had died.
The 2010 movie grossed $272 million at the worldwide box office and led to a sequel, Grown Ups 2, which was released in 2013. The second film earned $247 million worldwide.
Despite both movies being panned by critics – the first film had a 10% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and the sequel dipped to 8% – the movies are fan favorites and constantly are aired on cable networks.
Adam‘s two daughters have become Netflix stars and both have movie rosters with more than 20 films each.
