NFL Players Association executive director JC Tretter and CBS sideline reporter Aditi Kinkhabwala are both addressing the viral moment that happened with an NFL referee during the Sunday (October 4) game between the New York Giants and Arizona Cardinals.

Cameras caught NFL line judge Jeff Seeman having a heated conversation with Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride during the game. Trey and Seeman were having it out over a no-call that Trey thought was a penalty in the game’s fourth quarter.

Well, it looked like Seeman might’ve said “**** you” to Trey, based on amateur lip reading.

The clip has gone viral on fan feeds.

JC Tretter posted on X, “This kind of behavior from an official towards a player is unacceptable,” he wrote via X. “Players are consistently held accountable when the roles are reversed. We expect the NFL to hold officials to the same standard.”

Aditi added on X, “I was standing right there. What’s wild is that it all started with Trey McBride saying ‘please’ when pleading his case for a PI flag. He was heated for sure, but I never heard a curse from him. The harshest he got was, ‘You’re ruining the game.’”
