K-pop band CORTIS is having an impressive debut, with 600 million streams on Spotify, over 2 million physical album sales, and a major tour.

BigHit Music’s rookie boy band CORTIS’ debut album, Color Outside the Lines, has surpassed 600 million streams on Spotify and 2.1 million physical units sold. The five-member K-pop group’s second EP, GreenGreen, reached #61 on the Billboard 200 in the last tracking week after peaking at #3 just last month. It’s an impressive showing for a new group, and CORTIS shows no signs of slowing down.

Three music videos from GreenGreen have surpassed 10 million views on YouTube, with the track “TNT” being the most recent to become a viral hit. Of the previous two, “REDRED” and “ACAI,” the former achieved that milestone in just 12 days.

The second half of the year will see CORTIS embark on further global activities, including their first solo tour and a solo performance on the opening night of the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix race weekend in October—the only K-pop group named among the lineup. Other performers listed include Janet Jackson, Mark Ronson, James Arthur, Zara Larsson, Goo Goo Dolls, Split Enz, Major Lazer, DJ Snake, and K-pop girl group SNSD’s Hyoyeon.

Their upcoming tour, , runs from July to September across South Korea, North America, and Japan. The group will also perform at Lollapalooza Chicago from July 31 to August 1.

CORTIS comprises Martin, James, Juhoon, Seonghyeon, and Keonho, who debuted under BigHit Music and Republic Records in August last year. They are the third act signed to BigHit following BTS and TXT. Ranging in age from 16 to 20, the group’s name is an acronym for Color Outside the Lines, which is also the name of their full-length debut album. The record arrived in September 2025, debuting at $15 on the Billboard 200—the second-highest charting debut by any K-pop act.

In February, they became the first K-pop group to headline the NBA Crossover Concert Series opening night during NBA All-Star Weekend. For a fresh K-pop group, they are already distinguishing themselves from groups whose primary international activity is confined to the touring circuit.
