Eva Green is “recovering” after a recent injury on set.

While filming season three of Wednesday in Dublin, The Sun reported that the 45-year-old actress was rushed to the hospital earlier this month.

Entertainment Weekly was learned that Eva sustained an injury on set and is now “recovering well.” As of right now, no further details about the nature of the accident or the injury the Casino Royale actress have been revealed.

Netflix declined to comment on the situation beyond confirming there was “a sustained injury.”

Following Eva‘s injury, production was halted and the filming schedule was rearranged.

“This was really nasty,” a production source told The Sun. “Eva sustained an injury and was clearly in pain and producers were taking no chances. Medics were called and Eva went to hospital. She underwent treatment and is now recovering well.”

It was announced in November 2025 that Eva has joined the cast of Wednesday for season 3. She’ll be playing Aunt Ophelia, the sister of Morticia Addams (Catherine Zeta-Jones).
