CBS is expanding its unscripted slate with series orders to three shows – a reboot of Undercover Boss, hosted by Drew Carey, and new series Stacks of Cash, hosted by Mike O’Malley (Heels, Survivor’s Remorse), and 24 Hour Millionaire (working title) from Big Brother exec producers.
Targeted seasons, premiere dates and additional details will be announced at a later date, CBS announced Wednesday.
Based on the British series, Undercover Boss originally premiered on CBS in 2010 and aired for 11 seasons, the most recent in 2022. The news series is currently in pre-production with Carey as host.
Stacks of Cash is currently in post-production. The game show filmed in Portugal, the latest U.S. unscripted series to be shot abroad in order to save costs.
24 Hour Millionaire, which has been in development at CBS for more than a year, is also in pre-production.

The Emmy Award-winning series returns for its 12th season with fan-favorite television personality Drew Carey joining as host and a refreshed take on a beloved format for today’s audience. Corporate leaders go undercover within their own organizations to gain firsthand insight into their workforce and operations. Undercover Boss is produced by Studio Lambert.
