Dolly Parton is said to have only allowed one person at her deathbed.
According to TMZ, the country music legend and all-around icon did not want anyone to see her on her deathbed, because she “didn’t want anyone to remember her in her fragile, dying state.”
However, she eventually decided that one person would be allowed to be by her side.
However, Dolly made an exception for Cheryl Riddle, her longtime makeup artist and wig stylist. Dolly ultimately decided she was okay with Cheryl being there as she’d have to see her after she passed away in order to do her hair and makeup.
TMZ also noted that her nephew, Bryan Seaver, to see her before her death.
The late country music singer’s nephew, who was the chosen family member to announce her death, and his security companies were recently fired from her properties following her death, and he called out her longtime manager for the change. Her manager has since filed a restraining order.
