EXCLUSIVE: Three-time Oscar nominee Nick Nolte (48 Hrs) and Milo Gibson (Hacksaw Ridge) are leading horror film Vested, which recently wrapped production in British Columbia, Canada.
The synopsis reads: “Set in a remote, decaying mountain town, Vested follows a fractured family bound by an inherited legacy of violence and secrecy. When a series of brutal deaths expose a hidden bloodline curse tied to the full moon, two estranged brothers are forced to confront their past—and their father—before the violence consumes them all.” Below is a first look image from the movie.
Pic was written by The Michaels (Michael Mitton & Micheal Bafaro) and co-written by Jay Stamatis and Edmond Giovanni Coisson. Micheal Bafaro directed.Executive producers include Evan Tylor, Caterina Scrivano, and James C. Clayton of IndustryWorks Studios, along with Keli Price of Price Productions. EP Price negotiated the deals for Nolte and Gibson with CAA and IAG on behalf of the production.
Acclaimed vet Nolte is coming off Casey Affleck’s Venice Film Festival Competition drama Company. Gibson, son of Mel Gibson, recently starred with Tom Berenger in action film The Sheriff.Nolte is represented by CAA. Gibson by IAG. The Michaels by Bright Leicht Content.
