A French publication is claiming that Sebastian Stan spilled the beans on who he’s playing in the sequel to The Batman.
The film features a star-studded cast, led by star Robert Pattinson, and will be released on February 18, 2028.
Sebastian is new to the cast, but the studio never confirmed who he’d play…though there are lots of fan theories.
In an interview with Le Journal di Dimanche, which was translated from French to English, Sebastian was asked about Avengers: Doomsday. We have not been able to independently verify the quote.
“…we didn’t have a script. We were just shooting scattered scenes. It’s a different way of working, continuous, constantly evolving. The producers didn’t want us to read it in its entirety, to avoid journalists asking us questions. (Laughs.) I’ve been following this rule for fifteen years, I’m used to it.”
He then mentioned The Batman Part II.
“I also can’t say anything about The Batman: Part II, by Matt Reeves, where I play Harvey Dent. The beauty of this profession also lies in participating in projects of this scale, which I love as a viewer. Right now, I’m really looking forward to seeing The Odyssey , by Christopher Nolan; it looks amazing,” he allegedly said.
If you don’t know, Harvey Dent is a major character in the Batman world. He eventually turns into the supervillain Two-Face. We have reached out to reps for comment on Sebastian‘s alleged quote.
