This is a timely move for the multi-hyphenate, multi-platinum artist: She currently has a hit record on her hands in song of the summer contender “Spend Dat” and was also recently ranked No. 2 on Billboard‘s Hottest Female Rappers of 2026 Right Now list.
The “get money” anthem currently sits in the top half of multiple Billboard charts. It debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 66 early last month and has climbed all the way up to its current position of No. 19 after peaking at No. 17, risen to No. 4 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart after debuting at No. 50 and now occupies the No. 1 slot on the Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart after debuting at No. 40. That gives the former City Girl the first solo No. 1 radio record of her career.
“Spend Dat” is also making noise on social media, with the track clocking in at No. 10 on the TikTok Top 50 chart. The record has become so popular that the New York Knicks partied to the track in their locker room after winning their first championship in 53 years and invited Yung Miami to perform the song on a float during the team’s celebratory parade.
Aside from the music, Yung Miami’s podcast, Caresha Please, has become widely successful and netted a BET Hip-Hop Award in 2023 for Best Hip-Hop Platform. Her “Resha Roulette” card game is currently the No. 1 drinking game on Amazon and sold out when it was first released, according to a press release.
Miami’s upcoming album doesn’t yet have an official release date.
