Mr. Irrelevant isn’t hitting theaters until Christmas, but co-stars David Corenswet and Isabel May are getting an early start at promoting the movie.
The actors walked the red carpet together at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday (September 27) at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
David and Isabel will be hitting the stage during the show as presenters.
What is Mr Irrelevant about?
Mr. Irrelevant is the inspiring true story of John Tuggle (Corenswet), the last player selected in the last round of the 1983 NFL draft by the New York Giants. A true underdog, Tuggle defied expectations on the field and off for his then first-year head coach, Bill Parcells, his newfound love, and his team, proving that remarkable hope and perseverance can transcend even the greatest challenges.
When does the film come out?
Mr Irrelevant, written by Nick Santora and directed by Jonathan Levine, is set to hit theaters on Christmas Day (December 25).
The trailer was recently released online and is also playing in movie theaters everywhere!
David is best known for starring in the recent Superman reboot while Isabel starred in the Paramount+ series 1883 and appeared in Scream 7.
