The second night of the 2026 Creative Arts Emmys included several notable categories, such as the comedy and drama series for limited series supporting actor and actress roles, along with wins for variety specials, and more.
This year, several hugely famous stars took home their first-ever Emmy wins! Sabrina Carpenter, Bad Bunny, David Harbour, and more stars were among the celebs who took home the gold.
While several stars had been nominated before, this year marked their first actual wins.

Sabrina Carpenter
Sabrina Carpenter took home her first Emmy for Outstanding Variety Special for The Muppet Show, a pre-recorded variety special that she also executive produced. Her segments with Miss Piggy were particularly memorable and many went viral earlier this year. The special is now streaming on Disney+.

Bad Bunny
Bad Bunny took home his Emmy for his historic Apple Music Super Bowl halftime show. His halftime show took home seven wins out of nine nominations, becoming the most awarded Super Bowl halftime performance in Emmy history.

Octavia Spencer
Octavia Spencer won her first Emmy for Outstanding Narrator for her work on the Investigation Discovery series Lost Women of Alaska, a documentary series about a serial killer believing to be targeting Native women in Alaska. Octavia was previously nominated for the narrating Lost Women of Highway 20 in 2024 and the Netflix movie Self Made.

Linda Cardellini
Linda Cardellini took home her first Emmy for her work on the HBO series DTF St. Louis. She beat out Dakota Fanning, Laurie Metcalf, Youn Yuh-jung, and Constance Zimmer. She had previously been nominated for her work on Mad Men and Dead to Me.

David Harbour
David Harbour also received his first Emmy award for DTF St. Louis on Sunday night. He co-starred in the dark comedy series alongside Linda and Jason Bateman. He was competing against Jason, Richard Jenkins, Richard Gadd, Charles Melton, and Nick Offerman. He was previously nominated twice for his role as Jim Hopper in Stranger Things.

Betty Gilpin
Betty Gilpin just took home her first Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in Widow’s Bay. Betty only appeared in two episodes as a guest star in flashback scenes, but she left an impression. Previously, Betty had been nominated multiple times for her work on the Netflix show GLOW.

Shailene Woodley
Shailene Woodley scored her first Emmy win for her performance in the Hulu series Paradise. She won in the Guest Actress in a Drama Series category after playing a former Graceland tour guide named Annie on the show. This was Shailene‘s second Emmy nomination after her nom for Big Little Lies in 2017.

Ernest Harden Jr.
Ernest Harden Jr. won his first Emmy for his impressive performance as alcoholic patient Louie Cloverfield in the acclaimed HBO Max series The Pitt. His work on The Pitt was one of his largest roles to date, as it spanned both season 1 and 2. He beat out Colman Domingo, Jeff Hiller, Jonathan Pryce, Bradley Whitford, and The Pitt co-star Jeff Kober.
Following the Creative Arts Emmys, the 2026 Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony will air live on Monday, September 14 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC and stream on Peacock.
