This wasn’t part of Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia’s plan.

When the PlanBri podcast host jumped in with her perspective on the dating scandal involving Summer House alums West Wilson and Amanda Batula earlier this year, she didn’t anticipate being looped into the relationship drama.

Case in point, LaPaglia recently had to shut down rumors that she was romantically involved with Wilson after one TikToker claimed, “West Wilson is now an item with Brianna Chickenfry.”

And the Barstool personality didn’t hide her disbelief at such a rumor. “Me? West Wilson?” LaPaglia responded in a July 6 TikTok. “Have you guys even seen the podcast episodes I made about that man?”

Indeed, the influencer had previously thrown in her two cents about Wilson and Batula’s romance after it came to light in March, fracturing the Summer House cast—most notably due to Wilson’s acrimonious breakup with Batula’s BFF Ciara Miller and his own close bond with her estranged husband Kyle Cooke.

Although Wilson and Batula—each of whom confirmed they would not be returning to Summer House for season 11—claimed that they did not have sex before publicly confirming their relationship on March 31, LaPaglia shared her skepticism of that timeline.

“West told me, and I've said it here before, that they were a thing,” LaPaglia claimed in the May 31 episode of her podcast. “I can't remember exactly what he said, but he said me and Amanda are a thing at the Super Bowl, which is February.”

And since getting involved with the scandal, the 27-year-old has repeatedly revealed that she has not seen or heard from Wilson, a fact that she reiterated in her TikTok on July 6.

“I’ve humiliated myself enough with men,” LaPaglia, who went through a public breakup with Zach Bryan in 2024, continued. “Not going down that path again. Um yeah, actually no, what the f--k? Maybe he’s with a Brianna Chickenwing. Who is your source? I haven’t seen that man in months.”

As for Wilson and Batula’s romance, it appears to still be going strong. Keep reading for the full details of their relationship…

April 2, 2026: Kyle Cooke Accuses West Wilson of "Wild Betrayal"

Two days after Amanda and West went public, Kyle slammed his former friend for moving in on his ex.

"There's some wild betrayal here," he told journalist Adam Glyn in an April 2 TikTok video. "He basically threw his friendship with me away in one clean swoop. What happened to bro code?"

Kyle also insinuated West's intentions were calculated.

"West is smart enough to know who the audience is, and he knows, clearly, what to say to women to win them over," he told Adam. "Everyone's like, 'Oh my god. Look at his redemption arc!' And he was just piling on strategically, for sure."

Ciara's longtime BFF Paige DeSorbo made it clear whose side she's on amid the fallout.

“Ciara is our real friend, in real life. So we have been talking to her, consoling her,” the Summer House alum shared on the April 3 episode of their Giggly Squad podcast. “We are behind her 100 percent. We would never capitalize or monetize off of our friend’s heartbreak.”

Paige went on to share “the final thing” she was going to say about the situation.

“Ciara is a strong, intelligent, capable woman,” Paige added. “She will speak her truth when it is her time. I would never speak for her.”

April 7, 2026: Ciara Miller Shares Personal Update Amid Her Costars’ Romance

After a week of letting the dust settle, Ciara broke her silence and shared an update on her wellbeing with a simple comment.

While attending the Euphoria season three premiere April 7, Ciara told Entertainment Tonight that she's "thriving" amid Amanda and West's headline-making romance.

April 7, 2026: Ciara Miller Jokes About "Stealing Your Friend’s Ex-Boyfriend"

Proving she's not hung up on the drama, Ciara laughed off Amanda and West's budding romance while hosting the red carpet for HBO Max's Euphoria season three premiere.

“I mean, if you steal your friend’s ex-boyfriend,” Ciara quipped to Sydney Sweeney, whose character on the HBO show is no stranger to love triangles of her own, during the April 7 event. “What do you think is the next step?”

Sydney—whose character Cassie Howard starts dating BFF Maddy Perez’s (Alexa Demie) ex-boyfriend Nate Jacobs (Jacob Elordi)—grimaced at the thought, simply stating, “It’s not good.”

Ciara, 30, didn’t hold back on where she thought the relationship should go next, saying, “I feel like you ought to get married.”

Following a week of backlash, Amanda broke her silence to address angry fans.

"I wanted to come back on and say that I'm truly sorry to everyone I've disappointed and hurt," the 34-year-old wrote on Instagram Stories April 10, "especially those I know personally who I've reached out to individually."

"For the sake of my mental health," she continued. "I'm going to try to start living with some sense of normalcy. If you see me out or posting online, please know that this still weighs very heavily on me. I'm not ignoring what's happened or unfolded."

Plus, she promised fans will get more answers to their myriad of questions soon.

"I'll be at the reunion," Amanda confirmed, "and will be addressing any and all questions honestly and directly there."

Nearly three weeks after West and Amanda went public, Ciara addressed the scandal head-on for the first time.

“It’s one thing to experience hurt behind closed doors,” Ciara told Glamour in an interview published April 17. "To experience it so publicly is like another layer, and then to have to see what you thought was your life still play out in season 10. It’s a major mindf--k."

The 30-year-old explained that she "definitely" felt closer to Amanda before the scandal, but noted that she and West "were working on our relationship." And that closeness to Amanda is why she felt more betrayed by her than by West.

"At the end of the day, a guy’s a guy," Ciara said. "Whether or not West and I are working on a relationship, you just can’t put anything past a man. But I just never would think that it would come from someone like Amanda, who has been what has felt like in my circle and in my corner for so long. I think that’s the craziest part."
