Five months after his Billboard chart debut, Elías de Jesús Ramírez Rosales, better known as El de Las R’s, breaks into the top 10 on the Hot Latin Songs chart, as “Beretta (De Los Cerros La Escuela)” surges 11-5 on the ranking dated July 18.
“Beretta” rises to No. 5 on the multi-metric chart, largely from 2.8 million official streams in the United States — up 18% from the prior week in the tracking period ending July 9, according to Luminate. (Hot Latin Songs blends streams, airplay and sales.) The jump drives the song to a new No. 12 peak (rising from No. 19 a week ago) on Latin Streaming Songs and earns it Greatest Gainer honors, awarded to the title with the biggest streaming increase.
Released via Dinero Nuevo Records, “Beretta” appears on Estilo R’s, El de Las R’s seven-song debut album. After opening at No. 25 on Top Regional Mexican Albums in June, the set climbs to a new No. 15 peak on the chart this week (up from No. 19 a week ago) with 5,000 equivalent album units earned (up 20%).
