Aaron Donald is coming out of retirement.
The Los Angeles Rams confirmed the news by sharing a photo of the player with the caption “The Return of AD,” along with the caption: “Quarterbacks Rejoice,” crossed out and rewritten “Quarterbacks Scramble.”
Donald announced his retirement on March 15, 2024, and missed the last two seasons. He has the 33rd-most sacks of all time since the stat began being recorded in 1982, via Yahoo Sports.
Ian Rapoport previously shared the news on Sunday (August 30) in a video, saying: “Sources tell me and colleague Adam Schefter that Donald has agreed to terms with the Rams on a one-year $20 million deal, $30 million with playoffs incentives.”
