Meagan Good had to let another love go when she started her romance with Jonathan Majors.

The Think Like A Man star shared that when the couple started blending their lives together, she had to say goodbye to her beloved cat Bam Bam.

“Pups came with Jonathan—so there was two pups,” Meagan—who wed Jonathan last March—shared during a recent appearance on the Picture This digital series. “And then we got a third one.”

Unfortunately, Meagan’s kitten did not seamlessly adjust to the new additions at home.

“Bam Bam was real upset,” the 44-year-old continued. “And Bam Bam started using the bathroom in the bed.”

And while the Harlem actress thought she “couldn’t live without” her feline, it ultimately became too much.

“At first I was like, 'I’m going to miss him,'” she recalled, “And I really want him here, and he’s my little kitty.”

However, Meagan’s love for her and Jonathan’s new pup—on top of the cat’s behavior—led her to "get rid” of the cat.

Plus, there just wasn’t enough room in the couple’s bed anymore. So, as she put it, “I chose the man.”

Meagan isn’t the only star who has had to say goodbye to a pet during a life transition. Earlier this year, Jennifer Lawrence reflected on rehoming her dog Princess Pippi Longstocking when she and husband Cooke Maroney welcomed their sons, who are now toddlers.

As Jennifer said during a panel conversation in January, “After I had a kid, dogs became so scary.”

And while the Hunger Games alum shared her dog is now happily living with her parents, she admitted she has soured a bit on dogs as a species.

“It's almost like I don't recognize dogs right now," Jennifer said. “I just see them as a threat. One of them bit my son and that just made me want to obliterate every dog ever.”

But opposite to Meagan and Jonathan’s issue, Jennifer could handle her cat. As she put it, “I have a cat and I feel like they're so misunderstood.”
