Pitbull and his “Bald Es” superfans are set to try for a Guinness World Record by assembling the largest-ever crowd of bald-cap wearers. Meanwhile, with American Express aboard as a sponsor, Live Nation will stream the multi-hour happening in the style of a high-energy sports broadcast.

Live Nation, AEG Presents, and Pitbull alike announced the world record attempt, scheduled for July 10th at British Summer Time Hyde Park. Of course, it’s not every day that a live performance coincides with a chance at making the history books (and planting the seeds for a recurring event).

As such, Live Nation, currently promoting Pitbull’s I’m Back Tour, is looking to capitalize with a three-hour livestream on the artist’s official YouTube channel.

Though AEG Presents organizes BST Hyde Park, the Live Nation-powered remote viewing option will presumably fuel additional interest in the festival – while simultaneously rallying Pitbull diehards and benefiting lead sponsor American Express.

(Also, the amplified spotlight won’t hurt Pitbull himself, who has since 2026’s start inked partnership deals involving Vita Pop, Nabisco, and DoorDash, to name a few.)

On the superfan side, Pitbull Bald Es are apparently in the habit of affectionately donning bald caps at the artist’s concerts. And especially as the 45-year-old has performances scheduled into December, now seems a good a time as any to take advantage of the trend.

Enter the Guinness World Record attempt, which appears straightforward enough: Per BST Hyde Park’s site, “participants must wear bald caps secured firmly on the head, with hair tucked under at the front and top (hair may hang from the back).”

And said participants should be in place by six o’clock local time, when a minute-long count will commence in a designated “attempt area.”

Assuming all goes according to plan, Pitbull’s headline show will then double as the “largest gathering of people wearing bald caps,” culminating with the on-stage presentation of the Guinness title. (The bald-cap participation rate remains to be seen, but organizers are anticipating some 65,000 total attendees.)

Back to the livestream, TV personality Jamie Laing, influencer Jack Remmington, and comedian Heather McMahan will provide commentary, fan interviews, behind-the-scenes access, and more.

That makes for a nice gig for the professionals, at least one of whom, Atlanta-born McMahan, isn’t new to Team Pitbull. In a seemingly well-received bit, the stand-up encouraged casual fans to attend Pitbull’s shows; she hosted a Pitbull lookalike competition during her Absolutely Knot cruise as well.

“I just wanna let y’all know that every time you put on that bald cap,” Pitbull added in a statement, “you know you’re about to have the time of your lives. I appreciate the love, I appreciate the commitment, I appreciate the support and more than anything, I just want to say thank you. Dale!”
