Nearly two decades after Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, Jenni "JWoww" Farley, Pauly D and Vinny Guadagnino first arrived at the beachside house, the cast bid farewell to an era with the final episode of Jersey Shore Family Vacation.
The Sept. 3 finale was packed with unforgettable moments, including Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola's wedding to Justin May—which took place on her ex-boyfriend Ronnie Ortiz-Magro's 40th birthday—as well as a final goodbye to Seaside Heights.
The episode, per People, began with the cast meeting Ron's new girlfriend Kirsten at an early celebration, where the group shared their favorite memories of the reality star. His pals couldn't resist teasing him about his ex's nuptials being on his birthday, with Mike bringing a wedding cake to the table.
On the day of Sammi and Justin's wedding, Pauly, Mike and Vinny shared breakfast with Ron—who did not attend and instead celebrated his birthday with his family—before going to the ceremony.
There was drama from the very beginning at Park Chateau, since Angelina Pivarnick married her now-ex-husband Chris Larangeira at the venue in 2019. But she ultimately gave her blessing to Sammi.
"I've been invited to a few weddings at Park Chateau, but I declined all of them," she said. "I'm only doing this because I want to be there for Sam. That's why I said OK to this."
Nonetheless, it was an evening to remember, with Angelina catching the bouquet, and self-proclaimed meatballs Snooki and Deena Cortese fist-bumping on the dance floor.
The gang still remembers exactly where the beach is, with them returning to the Jersey Shore house two days later for a Sunday family dinner—a weekly ritual during the OG series, which premiered in 2009 and ran for six seasons—before officially saying their goodbyes.
"For the first time, we don't know when the next family vacation is," Pauly said in a confessional. "So, before we all leave, let's go back to where it all started."
The group reflected on their wild adventures over the past 16 years, which included weddings, business ventures, sobriety journeys, pregnancies and a lot of drama. The roommates even read letters they had written to themselves, which they had left inside the house to open later.
The episode ended with the cast sharing a hug outside the house, a callback to the OG series' finale. They all yelled out, "Jersey Shore forever!"
