Netflix has handed renewals to a bunch of UK originals.

Amid fevered speculation about the casting of Meghan Markle, Guy Ritchie’s The Gentlemen has been officially renewed for Season 3.

Deadline reported on Friday that Markle was in talks to star in Netflix’s organized crime drama, but Tina Brown wrote over the weekend that the casting had fallen apart amid backlash. Netflix has not commented.

Season 2 of The Gentlemen will premiere on September 3, starring Theo James as Eddie Hornimanm, who unexpectedly inherits his father’s sizeable country estate – only to discover it’s part of a cannabis empire.

Elsewhere, Netflix has renewed House Of Guinness, Being Gordon Ramsay, and Legends for second seasons.
