Spider-Man: Brand New Day is hitting theaters this week!

This will be the fourth film with Tom Holland playing Peter Parker/Spider-Man, marking the longest tenure for an actor to portray the superhero in a live-action film.

Tom‘s version of Spider-Man is also the first one to be a part of the MCU, having made seven live-action movie appearances!

Before Tom played the webbed hero, Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire took on the role, years before they all shared the screen as their respective multiverse Spideys in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

However, there were quite a few big names who auditioned for the role before the above actors landed the coveted part.
