Wonka’s The Golden Ticket is offering one lucky winner a pretty massive prize!
The new Netflix reality competition series premiered on Wednesday (September 23), bringing 12 Golden Ticket winners and their chosen partners inside a massive recreation of Wonka’s Chocolate Factory.
As the contestants make their way through the factory, they’re competing for what the show calls a “lifetime supply of money.”

What Does the Wonka’s The Golden Ticket Winner Win?
Netflix has revealed that the winner of Wonka’s The Golden Ticket will receive a $3 million grand prize!
Rather than receiving the entire prize at once, the $3 million will be paid as a six-figure annuity over the course of 30 years.
The prize is a play on the original Charlie and the Chocolate Factory story and the classic 1971 movie Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, in which the Golden Ticket winners were promised a lifetime supply of chocolate.
How Does Wonka’s The Golden Ticket Work?
The competition starts with 12 Golden Ticket recipients, each of whom gets to bring a partner of their choosing into the Chocolate Factory.
The contestants face a series of games, tests and temptations as they make their way through the factory.
Ultimately, only one contestant will walk away with the $3 million prize.
The first seven episodes of Wonka’s The Golden Ticket are streaming now on Netflix. The season consists of nine episodes, with the final two episodes set to drop on Wednesday, September 30.
The show also uses an AI-generated recreation of the late Gene Wilder‘s voice to guide contestants through the factory, with permission from the actor’s estate.
