Tom Cruise is brushing shoulders with royalty at the world premiere of his new movie, Digger!
The 64-year-old actor, who is fully transformed for his new role, was joined by Kate Middleton and Prince William at the royal premiere of the movie on Tuesday (September 22) at Leicester Square Gardens in London, England.
The global premiere of the movie also served as a royal film performance!
What is Digger about?
Tom plays as an oil baron named Digger Rockwell who is charged with saving the day to avert an environmental catastrophe that he caused in the first place.
The logline shares that Tom’s eccentric billionaire character “embarks on a frantic mission to prove that he is humanity’s savior before the disaster he’s unleashed destroys everything.”
The also stars John Goodman, Sandra Huller, Jesse Plemons, Riz Ahmed, Michael Stuhlbarg, Sophie Wilde and Emma D’Arcy.
Oscar winner Alejandro G. Iñárritu directs the movie.

Alejandro previously said of Tom‘s transformation: “The transformation he went through was astonishing. ‘Alejandro, it took me 40 years to become this character,’ he told me once. And I think we both know what it means to carry an entire career into a single moment like this. We both knew that throughout our journeys, we had never done anything even close to this.”
Digger hits theaters on October 2.
