The beauty launch revolution continues with Old Navy, everyone's favorite affordable fashion retailer, and a new beauty brand called Old Navy Beauty Co.

The first launch includes a collection of bodycare and fragrance products, featuring three products in seven custom scents developed in partnership with perfumer JÊrôme Epinette who created elevated and approachable smells. 

The bodycare and fragrance collection comes in seven scents: Fresh Splash, Sorbet D'Lish, Suede Embrace, Vanilla Crush, Gourmand Thrill, Amber Vibe, and Floral Sweet. Some scents are simple on the nose, while others are shockingly complex for their affordable price point.

According to the brand, Old Navy Beauty Co. promises a premium sensory experience without the luxury price. "Partnering with Jérôme enabled us to develop an exceptional fragrance collection that stays true to Old Navy’s commitment to quality, value, and making beauty feel approachable for everyone,” Deb Redmond, Head of Beauty at Gap Inc., said in a statement.

Personally? My favorites are Amber Vibe, Floral Sweet, and Fresh Splash. As someone who isn't obsessed with vanilla scents, Vanilla Crush gets a surprising honorable mention. It was interesting, deep, and complex. If you love a sexy and shockingly grown-up vanilla, take a sniff. For fall, Amber Vibe is truly perfection.

For those looking for something subtle, Fresh Splash is a fresh and salty scent with notes of juicy pear, salty beachwood, and white woods. If you love a punch of sweet and fruity, Sorbet D'Lish is perfect with its notes of passion fruit, frosted pineapple, and peach blossom. Suede Embrace is a little more of a complex fall scent with notes of jasmine blossom, sheer amber, and wild honey. Vanilla Crush isn't your typical vanilla smell; it's a seductive one with additional notes of tonka bean and warm woods.

Dessert-like sweet scent lovers have Gourmand Thrill, which has notes of toasted pistachio, creamy coconut, and salted amber. Amber Vibe is a complex, fresh, and warm scent, with notes of Italian mandarin, golden oud, and sundried amber. Lastly, Floral Sweet is the perfect scent to wear to brunch on a sunny day with notes of raspberry, amber, and white patchouli. 

Of course, the body mist will smell like a more subtle version of the scents, while the body lotion and body wash will be more concentrated. Because every nose is different, we recommend trying the mist first before going for the stronger formulas.
