EXCLUSIVE: Stephen Kalyn, one of the stars of Amazon’s hit new adult romance Off Campus, has signed with CAA.
Off Campus is an adaptation of Elle Kennedy’s internationally bestselling book series following four Briar University hockey players as they navigate sex, relationships, and growing up. Kalyn plays Briar Hawks defenceman Dean Di Laurentis.
Premiering in May, with all eight episodes dropping simultaneously, the show brought in 36 million viewers worldwide in its first 12 days of release and now stands as Prime Video’s third most-watched debut series of all time, behind tentpole series Fallout and The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.
While Kalyn played a supporting role in Season 1, he will be the lead of Off Campus Season 2, which is currently in production.
A favorite of Amazon’s, Kalyn appeared in their The Boys spin-off Gen V, along with their series Cruel Intentions and Motorheads, prior to Off Campus.
On the film side, Kalyn has been seen in the indies Paying for It and Out Standing, which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival in 2024 and 2025, respectively. He can also be seen in Corin Hardy’s horror film Whistle, alongside Sophie Nélisse. Additional credits include the CBC limited series Essex County, Cascade, Warrior Strong and Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent.
Kalyn continues to be represented by Play Management, Thruline Entertainment, Goodman, Genow, Schenkman, and Narrative.
