The stars of Verity are kicking off their promotional duties!
A pregnant Anne Hathaway joined co-stars Dakota Johnson and Josh Hartnett for a press day promoting their upcoming psychological thriller on Friday (September 18) in New York City.

Anne had her baby bump on display as she stepped out in a fitted Cult Gaia midi dress, completing the look with black open-toe heels and sunglasses. She was also seen smiling and waving as she left the press venue.
Dakota also opted for an all-black look, pairing a tailored jacket with matching pants, pointed heels, and dark sunglasses.

Josh added a pop of color to his casual press-day outfit with bright red shoes. He was also photographed in a second, all-black look.

What is Verity about?
Verity is an upcoming film based on Colleen Hoover‘s bestselling 2018 novel. Dakota is playing struggling writer Lowen Ashleigh, hired by Jeremy Crawford (Josh Hartnett) to finish a book series written by his wife, Verity (Anne Hathaway).
Verity finds herself unable to finish the series following a mysterious accident and while staying at the couple’s home, Lowen finds an unpublished manuscript containing disturbing secrets.
Michael Showalter directs and the screenplay is by Nick Antosca. Anne is also one of the film’s producers.
Verity will be released in theaters on October 2.
