This is Mandy Moore—and she’s not afraid to bare it all.
In fact, the 42-year-old recently gave a candid look at her body after becoming a mom alongside her husband Taylor Goldsmith.
“After 3 kids in 3 1/2 years, this is what my body is….” she wrote on her Instagram Story July 16. “Loose skin and all.”
In the accompanying video, Moore—mom to son Gus, 5, son Ozzie, 3, and daughter Lou, 21 months—stands in front of a mirror in leggings and a crop top, rubbing her stomach to reveal the loose skin in that area.
And the This Is Us alum also shared a peek at how she honors her body after giving birth to three kids: in the gym.
In a subsequent Story, Moore shared a video of herself doing an exercise where she jumps up onto a bar, lowers herself onto a box, completes an incline push-up on the box, before jumping back up and repeating the movement. And while she looks like a pro, the Walk to Remember star emphasized that perfection isn’t the goal.
“Also, I’m super awkward and not a natural athlete,” she wrote alongside the video, “but I’m committed to getting stronger for the long run.”
And Moore is also committed to being honest about the highest, hardest and funniest moments motherhood has to offer—case in point, this hilarious interaction she had with her eldest.
“On our way to camp this morning,” Moore—who tied the knot with Goldsmith, 40, in 2018—wrote on her Story, “Gus asked me if I was going to die before dad because I’m older than him. BURN.”
She continued, “I told him I’m only a year older than @taylordawesgoldsmith, geez.”
But these days, Moore is especially grateful for the normalcy of parenthood. After all, she and her family almost lost their home in the wildfires that swept through the Los Angeles area in 2025.
In the time since, Moore and Goldsmith have remodeled their house after it was significantly damaged, recalling to Architectural Digest the moment they returned to the property after the fires and saw their garage had burned down and that their studio was still aflame.
As Goldsmith told the outlet, “In my ignorance around what it means to live in a home that had been through a fire, I walked through and thought, ‘Everything's fine, we made it, it's gonna be OK and we'll be back within a month or something.’ But very quickly, we learned that all the soft goods—all the furniture, the rugs—that was all thrown away.”
But after moving back in, he and Moore couldn’t be more grateful for the community they have in Altadena.
“Overwhelmingly, you feel so proud to live here and so proud to stake your claim here,” she explained. “So many people that we know, too, neighbors of ours, are doing the same, and I feel like it's gonna bring everybody that much closer.”
Mandy Moore and Taylor Goldsmith welcomed son August "Gus" Harrison in February 2021 and Oscar "Ozzie" Bennett Goldsmith in October 2022.
"I can't believe we get to do this parenthood journey together," Mandy wrote to her husband for Father's Day 2023. "The 3 of us are the luckiest to have you, T. Love you to the moon and Happy Father's Day!!!"
Mandy shared in a tribute to Taylor on Instagram, "You were writing songs about coaching Little League well before we got married so I had *some* inkling that being a Dad was something you would excel at but I truly had no idea just how exceptional and natural you'd be until we were in it."
"I marvel at all you bring to the table- your patience, your gentle nature, your willingness to change a diaper or get up with a crying baby without me ever asking or to run around and get in the dirt with a very active toddler at any moment," the actress continued in her message. "Your ability to get Gus to eat something he'd flat out refused with me or elicit Ozzie's immediate laughter, your music curation for our boys- which is TOP NOTCH… I could go on and on."
"We had an early Birthday bash with friends and family for Goosey," Mandy wrote on Instagram in February 2023. "2 years with the sweetest, goofiest guy has absolutely flown by. We're the luckiest folks around to be in your orbit, Gus Goldsmith."
"I have been quarantined with this guy for over 6 weeks and we still really like each other," Mandy shared on Instagram in April 2020.
"Me and my love," Mandy shared on Instagram when teasing another duet performance.
Whether performing music together or cuddling on the couch, these two make one cute couple.

The couple enjoyed a mini-vacay in San Francisco to see an iconic landmark.
As Ed Sheeran would say, "You can keep me inside the pocket of your ripped jeans." Or, according to Taylor, as a bookmark in your favorite book.
