Ayra Starr collaborates with Instagram to introduce a long-awaited new feature: the ability to add tagged posts to your main grid.
Nigerian singer-songwriter Ayra Starr is partnering with Instagram to be the first to use a long-awaited new feature. Starting today, users can now add posts they’re tagged in to their main grid. For a limited time, Ayra will add some of her favorite fan-tagged posts to her profile.
Users can add tagged posts to their main grid in three ways:
- From the DM notification they receive when they’re tagged
- From the three-dot menu on a post they’re tagged in
- By pressing and holding a post in their Tagged tab
To celebrate, Ayra Starr fans will want to check out her Instagram page to see which of her supporters are getting a moment in the spotlight.
It’s a timely partnership for Starr, whose third studio album Starrgirl launched last month. The artist is also set to headline the halftime show at the 2026 NFL London Game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Jacksonville Jaguars on October 11 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The Afrobeats singer is a two-time Grammy nominee for Best African Music Performance, and she also previously performed at Glastonbury Festival to widespread acclaim.
“I’m so excited to perform at the NFL halftime show in London,” she said. “London is one of my favorite places in the world, and to bring Starrgirl to the NFL global stage is a dream come true for me. I can’t wait to see you guys there!”
The game will be the second NFL event at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in as many weeks, with the Indianapolis Colts to take on the Washington Commanders at the venue on October 4. A halftime performer for that game has yet to be announced.
A series of NFL games played internationally will feature halftime performances from a slew of talent, including Cage the Elephant in Munich, the Jonas Brothers in Melbourne, Pedro Sampaio and Ricky Martin in Rio, The Warning in Mexico City, and, of course, Ayra Starr in London.
“Ayra Starr is a generational talent with a real connection to fans in this market, and building on the halftime shows we have staged in London in recent seasons, she is the right artist to carry that momentum forward,” shared Tim Tubito, Senior Director of Global Game Presentation, Music and Entertainment at the NFL.
“We look forward to collaborating with her on a performance that captures the energy that matches the moment.”
