Prince Harry is making his first public appearance in the U.K. after his move back to his home country.
The 42-year-old Duke of Sussex stepped out for his Invictus Spirit Gala Dinner and Awards on Thursday (September 17) held at Old Royal Naval College in London, England.
Harry looked sharp in a classic black tux as he chatted with guests while arriving at the event. He attended the event solo as wife Meghan Markle was not present.
The first annual dinner honored community spirit as well as the wounded athletes who compete in the sports competition that Harry cofounded in 2014.
A press release described the Invictus Spirit Gala Dinner and Awards as an opportunity to “come together to recognize the people whose courage, commitment and contribution have made a lasting difference to the Invictus Movement, celebrating the stories of resilience and dedication that continue to inspire and support our international Invictus Community.”
The event marks the first official appearance Harry has made in the U.K. after he and Meghan, 45, moved their family back to his home country last month after living in Montecito, Calif. for the past several years.
