Add Ariana Grande to the list of artists who will never collab with Donald Trump on a TikTok video.
The 3x Grammy winner recently slammed the White House for using her 2024 song ‘Bye’ in a video promoting the Trump-signed Secure America Act, which would fund ICE and Border Patrol.
“Please do not ever use my music in relation to this barbaric, inhumane, heinous nonsense,” wrote Grande in the comment, according to Reuters.
According to the outlet, White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson responded, “We’ll say this one last time: what’s actually barbaric, inhumane, and heinous are the criminal illegal aliens who have injured and murdered innocent American citizens.”
Grande has joined the likes of Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter and Jess Glynne, who have all called out the Trump administration for using their songs in ICE propaganda videos.
In the first year of his second term, Trump has wasted no time targeting undocumented immigrants living in the United States, with the Department of Homeland Security amping up recruitment for ICE agents, who have been deployed in several major US cities, including Los Angeles, New York City, Chicago, Philadelphia, Miami, Atlanta and more.
US Immigration and Customs Enforcement has since come under increased fire, following the killings of US citizens Alex Pretti, Renee Good and Keith Porter Jr.
