Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell are both nominees at the Emmys tonight and they’re going to have a big night together!
The real-life couple, who previously worked together on The Americans, stepped out on the red carpet at the 2026 Emmy Awards on Monday night (September 14) at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
Matthew is up for three awards tonight while Keri is nominated for two awards.

The couple met while working together on The Americans. While they considered each other to be husband and wife, they are not legally married.
Keri and Matthew welcomed a son together in 2016. She also has two children from her previous marriage
Keri Russell’s nominations
Keri is nominated for Outstanding Drama Series for her work as an executive producer on The Diplomat and she’s also up for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her performance on the show.
Matthew Rhys’ nominations
Matthew is nominated for two different shows.
He’s up for Outstanding Comedy Series for executive producing Widow’s Bay and he’s nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for acting in it.
Matthew was also nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for his work in The Beast in Me. And he won the award early in the show!
