Why, yes, we are watching what happens live in Andy Cohen's love life.

Because when the Bravo exec turned up to New York City's Via Carota to celebrate his 58th birthday June 2, he had an extra special guest.

As he left the trendy Italian eatery in his West Village neighborhood, the Watch What Happens Live host was hand-in-hand with businessman Kevin Sobieski.

And though the dad to Ben, 7, and Lucy, 4, is thus far pleading the fifth about his first public romance since a 2018 split from epidemiologist Clifton Dassuncao, the reality is he'd like to have someone special in his life.

"You know, I have kids, obviously, and so dating has really changed," he noted during an October appearance on Alex Cooper's Call Her Daddy podcast. "I meet two kinds of people: people that I want to sleep with and people that I want to date. And people that I want to date and sleep with, obviously, that's the goal."

So how did he end up shooting his shot with Sobieski? We're telling all.

The word of the day is catch. Since 2024, Harvard Business School grad Sobieski has worked in portfolio operations for New York private equity and investment firm TPG, per his LinkedIn profile, specializing in healthcare investments.

Previously, the University of Wisconsin finance grad was an employee at MacAndrews & Forbes, Newell Brands and Bain & Company while also enjoying a 19-month stint as an independent advisor "to early stage companies, including full-time engagements with start ups in remote work and AI-driven HR software verticals."

His earliest listed gig was a one-year role as a financial analyst for General Mills that began in 2006. (Cohen, meanwhile, cut his teeth at global advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi in 1978.)

As Cohen says in his go-to tagline, "I'm a father of two, but a daddy to many." But the multi-hyphenate tends to keep his romantic entanglements to himself. In addition to his years with Dassuncao, Cohen dated his Radio Andy co-host John Hill—a Broadway actor and Watch What Happens Live producer—in the early aughts.

Though it would be easy for Cohen to do, when it comes to dating, "I wouldn't try to impress someone," he insisted to Cooper. "They would want to be with me or not."

As for his swiping habits, he's on "every app," he shared, and open to all different types of guys.

"I mean, come one, come all. It's really about a vibe," he explained. "I like strong, independent, smart, has their own thing going, handsome."

And they don't necessarily need a degree in Housewives studies.

Though Cohen serves as an executive producer for every franchise, "You know, it's so funny," he told Cooper, "the few people that I've hooked up with on Raya, that I've actually hooked up in person, mainly [don't] watch Watch What Happens Live and don't watch The Housewives."

Sobieski's resume would suggest he very much has his own thing going on. And before Cohen, he was making figurative music with Benj Pasek—a decorated composer who achieved EGOT status alongside songwriting partner Justin Paul in 2024.

Sobieski and Pasek made their debut at a 2018 Los Angeles performance of his beloved musical Dear Evan Hansen and took a final curtain call sometime after the 2022 premiere of Tony-winning Broadway musical A Strange Loop.

The twosome both reportedly participated in BuzzFeed's virtual Saturday Night Seder—a fundraiser for CDC Foundation's Coronavirus Emergency Response Fund—in April 2020 (as did Sobieski's then-boyfriend Pasek). But they just recently served up the first glimpse at their relationship.

And Sobieski's appearance at Cohen's birthday dinner suggests that just maybe his wishes have come true. Not that life wasn't sweet before. Check out Cohen's sweetest pics with the other loves of his life, kids Ben and Lucy.

He continued, "Marking time through the filter of my children’s growth is blowing my mind at this later stage of my life. Everything feels on double-time but it’s also, as @hodakotb says, right on time."
